Let’s navigate finding your new home together

  What MN Custom Homes is doing to safeguard and serve our community.

UNPRECEDENTED TIMES CALL FOR UNPRECEDENTED MEASURES

What’s happening locally and around the globe is unprecedented. As we move towards our normal business environment, keeping our employees, subcontractors and neighbors safe is our top priority. We are closely following the recommendations for residential home construction as directed by the CDC, State of Washington and the King County Health Department.

 COMPANY SAFETY MEASURES

Below are some of the primary safety precautions we are implementing immediately to ensure our employees are protected:

  • PPE utilization including gloves, mask to cover mouth and nose and goggles/face shield.
  • On-site social distancing.
  • Hygiene and sanitation stations.
  • Symptom monitoring.
  • Incident reporting.
  • Site decontamination procedures.
  • COVID-19 safety training.
  • Exposure response procedures.
  • Post-exposure incident project wide recovery plan.
  • Non-operations working from home.

COMMUNITY SAFEGUARDING

We know that there is an unmet and often overlooked need on the affluent Eastside. Even more so with the financial impacts to many families combined with the additional strain of home classrooms and childcare needs. Our charitable partner Jubilee REACH has shifted their efforts to impact at-risk students and families impacted by school closures and loss of income.

Jubilee REACH’s COVID-19 Response

  • Supplying groceries to over 530 households twice weekly.
  • Financial assistance to over 100 at-risk families.
  • Delivering clothes and household items donated to the Jubilee REACH Thrift Store.

My husband and I recently adopted 4 little ones and we are very grateful for your help during this difficult time.  We want to thank all the people who have donated food for us, also to the people who donated their time to distribute the food.  And last but not least, a big thanks to the Jubilee REACH for making this possible. Thank you all for your generosity, God bless you all.” – Gabriela

Our support of Jubilee REACH is detailed here. We believe in giving from our strengths as a local residential home builder, which has included home projects where we have donated 100% of the proceeds to fund the great work that so many have come to rely on. Our employees have donated their time to the neighborhood service day projects and for the third year in a row, we are the title sponsor for the annual Festival of Trees gala fundraiser for Jubilee REACH.

The greatest impact will have nothing to do with any of those contributions. Our 20 in 2020 Campaign is designed to help bridge the gap in required resources to meet the need.

  1. Increase awareness of the unmet needs on the Eastside;
  2. Let everyone know the amazing work that Jubilee REACH is doing in our schools and with our community members in need;
  3. Invite other area business to join our financial and volunteer support.

Many hands make light work. If you or anyone you know is looking for a way to provide a meaningful impact in our community, please have them reach out to us at info@mncustom.com. We would be so excited to connect them with someone at Jubilee REACH to walk them through getting plugged in.
