MN Custom Homes is honored to be the presenting sponsor of Building Community Together: Imagine Housing’s Signature Event to raise awareness of the affordable housing shortage. The Eastside’s most pressing need is affordable housing, as two-bedroom apartments can cost upwards of $80,000 a year. Affordable housing creates safe neighborhoods for families and stimulates the economy, benefitting us all.
This year’s Imagine Housing fundraiser was held at The Hyatt Regency in Bellevue and was highlighted by a performance from the Jewel Tones, celebrating Motown music. Join us as we recap this meaningful event.
Imagine Housing provides more than just a place to live. With the help of donations and volunteers, the organization also
- Connects residents to community health and social services, education, healthcare, and employment partners
- Assists with the completion of paperwork
- Facilitates questions and support regarding lease agreements
- Helps residents with basic needs supplies, such as hygiene and cleaning supplies
- Performs grocery rescue and food delivery to seniors
- Delivers fresh veggies to low-income households
- Hosts community dinners
- Provides educational programming in their communities
